Security Center default policy setting “Monitor SQL Auditing” should be enabled¶
Enable SQL auditing recommendations. When this setting is enabled, it recommends that access auditing for the Azure Database be enabled for compliance, advanced threat detection, and for investigation purposes.
Portal Remediation Steps¶
Navigate to Azure Policy.
Select the subscription and click Edit assignment.
In Auditing on SQL server should be enabled, select AuditIfNotExists.
Click Review + save > save.
CLI Remediation Steps¶
Remediation is not possible via the CLI.
